Explore London is a personal project to document the city I call home. London is an exceptional city that manages to balance the old world charm and quirkiness of a European city with a modern metropolis. The city is forever changing as new development spring up at an amazing speed, yet these alterations to the cityscape take years to unfold. At the same time London retains odd hints of its past, and a new city shaped by bizarre rules, from the protected views of St. Pauls to the narrow winding streets of the old square mile. The aim of this project is to capture London's ordinary spaces and places, common to invisible to locals but possibly new to outsiders. In this digital era where we capture more photographs in a matter of months that previously took a century, it's possible we won't notice London change. These images are as much about the time they were taken as they are about the places.
